Job Description
The Manager, Finance and Accounting US will oversee financial operations and accounting functions for Metergy Solutions, supporting the US business from their Markham, Ontario office with a hybrid work model and monthly travel to the US.
Responsibilities
- •Manage finance and accounting operations for the US business.
- •Prepare and analyze financial reports and budgets.
- •Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- •Oversee billing and collections for utility consumption.
- •Support financial forecasting and strategic planning.
- •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial performance.
Requirements
- •Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- •Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance and accounting.
- •Experience in managing financial reporting and budgeting processes.
- •Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- •Ability to travel to the US once a month for 2-3 days.
- •Hybrid work model requiring 3-4 days in office in Markham, Ontario per week.
