Job Description
The Manager of Scheduling will lead the development and maintenance of program schedules within the finance team, ensuring compliance with government requirements and effective integration of earned value management. This role requires extensive experience in program scheduling, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with senior management and customers.
Responsibilities
- •Develop and implement processes and procedures to support earned value management and scheduling systems
- •Support development and maintenance of the program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in MS Project
- •Detail plan and maintain the IMS throughout the program's lifecycle, incorporating contractual and programmatic changes
- •Ensure IMS compliance with government customer requirements throughout all program phases
- •Ensure IMS is resource loaded with target budgets and demonstrates cost and schedule integration
- •Lead and conduct detailed analysis of the IMS and supporting documents for quality and compliance
- •Communicate schedule status, critical path analysis, and schedule variance analysis to stakeholders
- •Support EAC and proposal processes related to the Program IMS
- •Develop scheduling health metrics and dashboard for visibility
Requirements
- •A minimum of 10 years of experience in program scheduling within the defense or R&D industry.
- •Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
- •Prior work experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or similar business process.
- •Prior work experience in managing the development of complex program plans in accordance with the statement of work and program strategy.
- •Prior experience managing a team of professionals.
- •Prior work experience supporting the integration of subcontractors and operations into program plans, schedules, and financial tracking.
- •Demonstrated customer-facing experience in a leadership role.
- •Active DoD Security Clearance or ability to obtain and maintain a DoD TS/SCI Security Clearance.
- •US Citizenship.
