Job Description
The Manager, Customs Tariffs will join Aprio's Specialty Tax team to help clients maximize their opportunities in customs tariffs, working within a dynamic and innovative CPA and advisory firm.
Responsibilities
- •Manage customs tariff compliance for clients
- •Advise clients on customs regulations and tariff classifications
- •Develop and implement strategies to optimize clients' tariff positions
- •Conduct audits and assessments of clients' customs processes
- •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support client needs
Requirements
- •Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- •Minimum of 5 years of experience in customs tariffs or related tax areas.
- •Strong knowledge of U.S. customs regulations and tariff classifications.
- •Experience with compliance and regulatory requirements related to customs tariffs.
- •Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- •Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- •Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- •Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
