Job Description
The Customer Engineer at Bedrock Energy will lead the technical sales evaluation for geothermal heating and cooling installations, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and scaling of the technology. This role involves defining processes and tools to support the deployment of carbon-free HVAC solutions, while building a foundation for a Customer Success organization.
Responsibilities
- •Lead technical sales evaluation of geothermal heating and cooling installations
- •Collaborate with cross-functional teams for successful implementation
- •Define and refine tools, processes, and systems for scaling installations
- •Build understanding of technology innovations and customer needs
- •Support deployment of technology in construction and HVAC retrofit projects
- •Work with external engineers, property managers, and construction subcontractors
- •Collaborate with internal Operations Engineering and Field Operations teams
Requirements
- •Lead the technical sales evaluation of prospective geothermal heating and cooling installations.
- •Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues and partners to successfully transition into implementation.
- •Define and refine the tools, processes, and systems that will enable Bedrock to scale to dozens of installations per month and millions of square feet of real estate over the next decade.
- •Build a deep understanding of Bedrock's technology innovations, geothermal offerings, and real estate customer needs.
- •Work externally with MEP and facility engineers, property managers, real estate developers, construction subcontractors, distributors, and vendors.
- •Work closely with Bedrock's Operations Engineering and Field Operations teams.
- •Support methodical deployment of technology into actual construction and HVAC retrofit projects.
