About the Role

The Staff Software Engineer is responsible for designing and programming a small module or a large component and designing a feature, set of features, or whole feature area.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for R&D activities for active contribution to the development of new advanced features and applications in the domain of Power Systems Software Engineering.
  • Responsible for integration of advanced EMS power systems applications with Data Analytics applications.
  • Responsible for testing, tuning, and fixing issues associated with the advanced EMS power systems application software.
  • Responsible for Customer Projects and ensure related software deliveries are on schedule, within budget, and meet customer requirements.
  • Demonstrate best practices and high-quality software development processes.
  • Write documents for new project tasks, such as design notes and testing procedures.
  • Provide effort estimates to Project Manager and Project Engineer.
  • Support Demos of new and advanced applications and features.
  • Mentor new members in the team.
