About the Role
Reporting to the Director - Quality and Continuous Improvement, the Sr. Quality and Continuous Improvement Engineer works as part of a team to build and maintain Fluence’s quality system. They lead continuous improvement projects, as needed, utilizing their knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Kaizens or Six Sigma.
Responsibilities
Lead process improvements through data-driven problem solving and continuous improvement activities in multiple areas of the company
Analyze data from multiple sources related to quality performance and prepare various management reports using Excel, PowerPoint or other analytical tools
Lead/support root cause analysis teams using the 8D methodology
Train employees on 8D methodology, root cause analysis tools and lean concepts related to process improvement
Participate and/or lead internal quality audits
Create, update and improve various process documentation typically using Word, Visio and SharePoint
Lead various kaizen and other improvement projects in multiple areas of the company
