About the Role

SPAN’s Power Electronics team is looking for an intuitive and multidisciplinary power electronics engineering intern to participate in developing various power converter platforms used in SPAN products.

Responsibilities

  • Support evaluation, testing, and the design of power converters.
  • Create schematics and layouts using Altium Designer.
  • Conduct circuit and power electronics and system modeling and simulation.
  • Build prototypes and assemblies and validate electronics and power electronics.
  • Support lab test setups, data collection, and analysis.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams.

Requirements

  • Good understanding of electronics
  • Good understanding of circuits
  • Good understanding of power electronics fundamentals
  • Good understanding of semiconductor devices
  • Hands-on experience in the lab
  • Familiarity with testing and debugging electronics
  • Detail-oriented
  • Excellent communication skills
