Responsibilities

• Develop creative solutions and reduce complexity to create accurate and effective solutions for complex engineering problems.
• Create a design from requirements and help define requirements where necessary.
• Perform schematic design, component selection, PCB layout, PLD/FPGA design, simulation/module testing, PLD/FPGA code reviews, and integration testing.
• Document designs by creating Design Specifications, performing PLD/FPGA code reviews, and writing test reports.
• Engage customers to define scope, review results, and discuss technical risks.
• Work with the technical leader to establish an effective work plan.
• Provide clear and complete analysis documentation in accordance with GE engineering procedures.
• Manage time effectively to provide quality deliverables within the expected project timeline.
• Develop system verification and validation test requirements.
• Perform Testing to support component failure analysis including report generation.
• Drive compliance with GEH and industry-based systems lifecycle processes.
