About the Role
The Advanced Procurement Specialist will perform analysis and manage components in the Bill-of-Material during the design phase of new product development.
Responsibilities
Perform Long-Lead-Time (LLT) analysis of the Bill-of-Material (BOM)
Identify and manage Single-Source and Sole-Source Components
Create and maintain approved component and vendor lists
Perform Risk-Buy analysis for components
Identify second source components
Collaborate with Category Managers to develop sourcing strategies
Drive design-to-cost with product design Engineering
Ensure On-Time documentation and release of components
Participate in weekly Program Execution Team (PET) meetings
