Job Description
The Wastewater Design-Build Project Manager oversees the development, design, and delivery of water, wastewater, and recycled water projects nationwide, managing technical teams, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring project schedule, quality, and financial performance.
Responsibilities
- •Collaborate with clients to develop, design, and deliver water, wastewater, and recycled water projects
- •Manage and lead technical teams to ensure project success
- •Coordinate and negotiate changes with construction partners and subcontractors
- •Evaluate and mitigate project risks
- •Oversee project schedule, quality, and financial performance
- •Lead project delivery in collaboration with technical and construction managers
- •Work directly with clients and internal teams to ensure project objectives are met
- •Support marketing and proposal efforts for new projects
Requirements
- •Experience in managing water, wastewater, and recycled water projects, with the ability to develop, design, and deliver such projects nationwide.
- •Ability to manage and drive the technical team, including engineers, construction managers, and design professionals.
- •Experience in coordinating and negotiating change orders with construction partners and subcontractors.
- •Regularly evaluate and mitigate project risks.
- •Strong and diligent focus on project schedule, delivery, quality, and financial performance.
- •Familiarity with issues related to master planning, treatment, and distribution systems (preferred).
- •Ability to collaborate with the Technical Manager and Construction Manager to lead the delivery of multiple projects.
- •Experience working directly with clients and internal teams.
- •Support marketing and proposal efforts related to water and environmental projects.
- •Willingness to travel up to 25% within the US, including frequent short-term travel to projects and clients.
- •Availability to work remotely with a flexible hybrid schedule, including 1 to 2 days in the office or onsite with clients.
