Job Description

The Senior Water Design Engineer will collaborate with municipal clients to develop, design, and deliver drinking water projects across the New England region, focusing on systems evaluation, planning, design, and construction of water treatment and distribution solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with municipal clients to develop, design, and deliver drinking water projects.
  • Evaluate, plan, design, and oversee the construction of drinking water systems.
  • Lead the delivery of multiple water projects in coordination with the Project Manager.
  • Work directly with clients and internal teams to ensure project success.
  • Support marketing and proposal efforts for new projects.

Requirements

  • Possess a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Have solid experience in evaluating, planning, designing, and constructing drinking water systems.
  • Have familiarity with a broad range of issues related to master planning, treatment, and distribution systems for drinking water.
  • Be technically focused with strong attention to detail.
  • Be able to collaborate with the Project Manager to help lead the delivery of multiple projects.
  • Work directly with clients and internal teams to support project execution.
  • Support marketing and proposal efforts related to water projects.
  • Be willing to travel up to 20% within the New England Region, including Massachusetts, Maine, Rhode Island, and Connecticut.
  • Have the ability to work in an office or on-site with clients, with a hybrid flexible work schedule.
