Job Description
The Head of Software Engineering at WeaveGrid will lead the engineering team to develop scalable and reliable software solutions for the electric transportation sector, while driving technical strategy and team growth in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- •Define and execute the technical strategy for product performance and capabilities.
- •Drive the development of scalable, secure, and reliable systems.
- •Stay ahead of emerging technologies and industry trends.
- •Recruit, lead, mentor, and inspire the engineering team.
- •Streamline engineering workflows and processes for efficiency.
- •Establish testing, monitoring, and deployment pipelines.
- •Collaborate with product management to align engineering priorities.
- •Translate business needs into technical solutions with stakeholders.
- •Align technical initiatives with overall company strategy.
Requirements
- •10 years of engineering experience, with 5 years in leadership roles at a startup or high-growth company.
- •Success in scaling SaaS infrastructure to handle rapid growth and high performance.
- •Deep understanding of modern cloud-based architectures and technologies.
- •Strong decision-making skills, balancing technical excellence with speed and business priorities.
- •Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse stakeholders.
- •Experience with optimizing software that serves both consumer-facing and B2B audiences.
