Job Description
A Senior Structural Engineer Project Manager specializing in bridges, responsible for leading transportation projects, managing teams, and contributing to business development within a collaborative, employee-owned firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage bridge-focused and multi-disciplined transportation projects.
- Design highway and railroad bridges and related transportation structures.
- Lead multi-disciplinary transportation projects and contribute to innovative solutions.
- Mentor team members and support professional development.
- Assist in business development by tracking opportunities and representing the firm at interviews and networking events.
- Identify skills and capabilities needed to expand the team’s service offerings.
Requirements
- A Senior Professional Bridge Engineer with 10-20 years of experience in managing bridge-focused and/or multi-disciplined transportation projects.
- Demonstrated experience in designing highway and/or railroad bridges, as well as a variety of other transportation structure projects.
- Experience leading multi-disciplined transportation projects and mentoring talented team members.
- Ability to contribute to innovative solutions in both traditional and design-build environments.
- Experience collaborating with business development activities, including tracking prospective business opportunities and representing the company at project interviews and networking events.
- Ability to assist in identifying the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to expand the team’s overall service offerings and capabilities.
- Pre-employment background screening including Social Security verification, educational verification, review of criminal convictions, and driving history.
