Job Description
The Senior Project Manager PE, Civil - Highway leads the design and management of transportation infrastructure projects, including planning, engineering, and client relations, within a collaborative, hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design of transportation infrastructure projects, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Provide comprehensive transportation planning services, including sustainable and multimodal planning.
- Develop geometric layouts, preliminary engineering, and final designs for transportation projects.
- Manage project execution in the Greater Milwaukee market, including scope, schedule, and budget.
- Collaborate with clients and agency representatives to maintain relationships and facilitate project approvals.
- Contribute to business development by developing marketing plans, tracking opportunities, and preparing proposals.
- Deliver client presentations and communicate project progress and technical details effectively.
Requirements
- Hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license in Civil Engineering.
- Have experience leading projects for designing complex, safe, and efficient transportation infrastructure systems.
- Have experience working with clients to provide transportation planning, geometric layouts, multimodal planning, preliminary engineering, and final design services.
- Be able to collaborate with the Highway Group Manager and the Vice President of Surface Transportation Engineering to develop marketing plans, cultivate and maintain relations with clients and agency representatives, track prospective opportunities, develop proposals, and deliver client presentations.
- Be capable of leading projects in the Greater Milwaukee market.
- Complete a standard pre-employment background screening, including Social Security verification, educational verification, review of criminal convictions, and driving history.
