Job Description
An Algorithms Engineer Trainee role focused on developing real-time algorithms for AI-powered healthcare solutions, including motion tracking, data analysis, and wearable device insights, within a fast-growing startup environment dedicated to reducing pain and improving health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop real-time algorithms for data processing
- Build the engine of the Digital Therapist using motion tracking with sensors or computer vision
- Contribute to the development of algorithms for wearable devices targeting mental health, movement health, and pelvic health
- Perform data analysis to extract insights and evaluate the success of strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions from start to finish
Requirements
- Candidates must possess a strong foundation in design and software engineering skills.
- Candidates must have the ability to perform data analysis and retrieve insights on the success of strategies.
- Candidates must be able to implement real-time algorithms that process different types of data.
- Candidates must be able to contribute to building the engine of the Digital Therapist, including motion tracking with motion sensors or computer vision.
- Candidates must contribute to extracting insights and developing algorithms used in wearable devices for Mind mental health, Move movement health, and Bloom pelvic health.
- Candidates must be willing to participate in a 12-month trainee program that involves working on meaningful projects from day one, with a focus on solving complex and ambiguous problems.
- Candidates must be based in Portugal and possess a valid EU visa, as the position does not offer relocation assistance.
