Job Description
A senior product management role focused on leading the development and strategic direction of trading platforms for environmental commodities, including carbon and renewable energy assets, to optimize trade execution, risk management, and market competitiveness.
Responsibilities
- •Own and evolve the core engine of the environmental commodities trading platform, including pricing, transaction, and position management.
- •Define the strategic product direction across trading workflows and platform capabilities to ensure scalability, automation, and auditability.
- •Lead cross-team initiatives to improve trade flow, reduce friction, and enhance visibility, accuracy, and control in trade execution and reconciliation.
- •Collaborate with legal, operational, and compliance teams to translate regulatory and operational requirements into product strategies.
- •Mentor senior product managers and shape product standards, systems, and culture.
- •Balance short-term delivery with long-term architecture, scalability, and operational efficiency to maximize business value and client outcomes.
Requirements
- •Deep product experience of at least 8 years, ideally within trading systems, financial infrastructure, or B2B SaaS platforms at scale.
- •Strong domain fluency in how trades are originated, priced, confirmed, and settled, with bonus points if applied to commodities, carbon, RECs, or energy markets.
- •Demonstrated success in driving outcomes across multiple teams, domains, or business lines, especially where alignment and complexity were key.
- •Strong systems thinker with a strategic mind, comfortable going deep into operational edge cases, data models, or regulatory detail.
- •Ability to align diverse stakeholders and create momentum behind strategic product investments.
- •Proven ability to turn a bold product vision into prioritized delivery while maintaining quality, performance, and controls.
