Job Description

The Corporate Account Manager at STX is responsible for expanding the customer portfolio in the Iberian region by engaging with clients across various industries, understanding their decarbonization needs, and offering tailored environmental commodities solutions to support their sustainability goals.

Responsibilities

  • Expand customer portfolio in the Iberian region by engaging with prospective clients across various industries to understand their decarbonization needs.
  • Drive market share growth in the French market through targeted outreach, including cold-calling and market canvassing.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships through in-person meetings and activities.
  • Execute transactions involving environmental commodities and structure complex deals using financial instruments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including technical product experts and policy teams, for effective deal execution and coordination.
  • Stay informed about regulatory and legislative developments in the designated region to ensure compliance and strategic alignment.

Requirements

  • One year of relevant work experience in sales, trading, finance, banking, business development, or account management, including exposure to or experience in renewable energy or environmental commodities market.
  • Master's degree in one of the aforementioned relevant disciplines.
  • Profound feel for commercial transactions and deals.
  • Out-of-the-box thinking and an entrepreneurial mentality to identify opportunities at an early stage.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and work effectively in an intense team environment, and to build direct working relationships.
  • Fluency in English and French in writing and speech.
  • Flexibility to travel often and living or open to relocate to Lyon, France.
