Job Description
A Staff Program Manager at Sila is responsible for leading cross-functional programs to drive the adoption of next-generation battery materials, translating business objectives into strategic plans, and coordinating efforts across teams to support product development and sales growth in the battery industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business objectives into critical milestones and plans.
- Create and drive plans for next-generation products aligned with business strategy.
- Own cross-functional programs to enable sales pipeline, coordinating with relevant teams.
- Communicate program status clearly to executives, partners, and teams.
- Drive decision-making and communicate scope, assumptions, and results.
- Identify interdependencies and risks, and implement mitigation plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in engineering or physical sciences
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in the battery industry
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a program manager for hardware development
- Demonstrated ability to consolidate and communicate data and trade-offs clearly to varied audiences
- Experience bringing together collaborator needs and expectations, gaining and maintaining collaborator support, and closing gaps in differences to drive alignment
- Excellent leadership skills, analytical thinking skills, organizational skills, and high attention to detail
- Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment, such as a laptop, copier, and printer, in a fixed location
- Ability to remain stationary for extended periods of time
Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range: $151,000 to $191,000
