Job Description
The Accounts Director role involves managing and developing relationships with key customers in the consumer electronics sector, primarily in Asia, to drive business growth, align product offerings with customer needs, and collaborate with internal teams to achieve revenue targets in the battery materials industry.
Responsibilities
- •Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key customer decision-makers.
- •Develop and execute account plans to secure business and meet revenue targets.
- •Collaborate with internal teams to align customer needs with company strategy and product roadmap.
- •Forecast demand and create multi-year projections for strategic planning.
- •Manage business development and sales activities with key partners.
- •Mentor junior team members on customer engagement and account management best practices.
- •Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
- •Oversee daily workflow of account portfolio and opportunity pipeline.
Requirements
- •Proven experience in business development, account management, project management, and team leadership with large consumer electronics OEM customers.
- •At least 5-7 years of experience selling into battery cell making and or consumer electronics supply chains, especially novel products requiring physical integration.
- •Experience with batteries or battery components is preferred.
- •Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills in English.
- •Fluency in Korean is a must.
- •Knowledge of Samsung is required.
- •Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- •Proficiency in understanding complex technical and commercial concepts.
- •Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, innovative, and customer-centric environment.
- •Operate a computer and other office equipment, such as a laptop, copier printer, etc in a fixed location.
- •At least 50% travel required, both domestic and international.
- •Preferred location is Korea.
