Job Description
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of utility-scale solar and battery energy storage projects, managing budgets, schedules, and contracts, while coordinating internal teams and external partners to ensure project completion from initiation to final acceptance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the execution of utility-scale solar PV and BESS projects from LNTP to Final Acceptance.
- Oversee turn-key EPC contracts for PV, BESS, or PV BESS projects.
- Coordinate internal teams and external partners to ensure project success.
- Maintain project budget, schedule, and contractual compliance.
- Provide project updates to leadership and external stakeholders.
- Interface with landowners, utilities, authorities, and partners to meet project milestones and secure permits.
- Coordinate commissioning and project close-out activities.
- Support project hand-offs between development, construction, operations, and asset management teams.
- Develop and mitigate project risks, scope gaps, and scope creep.
- Manage project-specific staff and coordinate on-site supervision and execution.
Requirements
- 7-10 years of experience managing utility-scale PV, BESS, and PV BESS projects.
- Experience performing the above duties and responsibilities for utility-scale PV and BESS projects in the CASIO market.
- Ability to travel 25-50% of the time, as needed.
- Expertise in MS Office Suite, MS Project, P6, Monday.com, and other project management tools.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
