Job Description
The Project Controls Analyst Engineer will develop and maintain project schedules, monitor project performance, analyze risks, and collaborate with teams to ensure successful execution of renewable energy projects, primarily in solar and utility-scale sectors.
Responsibilities
- •Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project
- •Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure schedule accuracy and alignment with project goals
- •Monitor project progress, identify delays or issues, and recommend mitigation strategies
- •Conduct schedule risk analysis and develop contingency plans
- •Prepare and present project status reports, including schedule updates and variance analyses
- •Assist in developing and managing project budgets, forecasts, and cost control processes
- •Participate in project meetings and provide expertise on scheduling and project controls best practices
- •Continuously improve project controls processes and tools
Requirements
- •Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- •Minimum of 5 years of experience in project controls and scheduling, preferably in the solar or utility space.
- •Strong proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
- •Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
- •Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- •Detailed understanding of project management principles and best practices.
- •Experience with earned value management (EVM) and cost control techniques.
- •Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
