Job Description
The Software Engineer - Salesforce at Samsara will design and develop scalable solutions on the Salesforce platform, collaborating with various teams to enhance business processes and increase sales efficiency. This role requires strong technical skills in Salesforce development and a focus on delivering impactful solutions.
Responsibilities
- •Design and develop secure, scalable technical solutions on the Salesforce platforms
- •Analyze business processes and system implementation to identify inefficiencies and critical metrics
- •Evaluate existing code, develop plans to reduce technical debt, and establish a technology roadmap
- •Maintain and optimize full lifecycle software development using standard configuration, Apex, VisualForce, LWC, APIs, and Force.com applications
- •Mentor, develop, and train Junior developers
- •Champion and embed Samsara’s cultural principles
Requirements
- •6-8 years of work experience in IT engineering.
- •4 years of Salesforce development experience with extensive knowledge of Sales Cloud, Apex, VisualForce, LWC, and Force.com tools and applications.
- •Experience in Agile development methodology.
- •Excellent communication skills and proven success in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
- •Strong problem-solving skills.
- •Experience designing test plans, performing unit testing, and writing test classes to ensure proper code coverage.
- •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- •This role is based in Bengaluru and requires working from our office at Prestige Tech Park, Kadubeesanahalli 3 days a week.
