Job Description
The Senior Software Engineer - Salesforce CPQ at Samsara will design and develop scalable solutions on the Salesforce and CPQ platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance business operations and improve sales efficiency.
Responsibilities
- •Design and develop secure, scalable technical solutions on the Salesforce platforms
- •Analyze business processes and system implementation to identify inefficiencies and critical metrics
- •Evaluate existing code, develop plans to reduce technical debt, and establish a technology roadmap
- •Maintain and optimize full lifecycle software development using standard configuration, Apex, VisualForce, LWC, APIs, CPQ, and Force.com applications
- •Mentor, develop, and train Junior developers
Requirements
- •8 years of work experience in IT engineering
- •3 years of Salesforce development experience with extensive knowledge of Sales Cloud, CPQ, Apex, VisualForce, LWC, and Force.com tools and applications
- •Experience in Agile development methodology
- •Excellent communication skills and proven success in a dynamic and collaborative environment
- •Strong problem-solving skills
- •Experience designing test plans, performing unit testing, and writing test classes to ensure proper code coverage
- •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- •This role is based in Bengaluru and requires working from our office at Prestige Tech Park, Kadubeesanahalli 3 days a week
