Job Description

A Senior Program Manager at Samsara is responsible for leading and executing complex, cross-functional programs within the sales organization to drive strategic transformation, operational efficiency, and business growth in a high-growth SaaS environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple high-priority, cross-functional programs within the Sales organization and Go-To-Market systems.
  • Define program charters, align with executive sponsors, and oversee execution of interdependent workstreams.
  • Partner with VP leaders to ensure program alignment with business strategy and surface risks and recommendations.
  • Establish program governance, including reporting cadences, metrics, KPIs, and forums for visibility and accountability.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, revenue growth, or operational efficiency, and measure outcomes.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive change management plans, including cross-functional enablement, training, and communications.
  • Mentor junior project managers and promote a culture of continuous improvement aligned with company principles.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a 4-year institution; MBA is a strong plus.
  • 10 years of experience in a program management or business operations role supporting sales organizations within a high-growth B2B SaaS or hardware environment.
  • Proven track record of owning large-scale, cross-functional programs that deliver strategic outcomes and ROI.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with executive stakeholders, lead complex initiatives, and navigate organizational complexity.
  • Strong program management expertise including program design, governance, change management, risk mitigation, and cross-team execution.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively.
  • Comfortable working in a remote environment and able to collaborate effectively across time zones.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and executive communication skills able to distill complex issues and influence across levels.
  • Analytical mindset with strong business acumen and ability to derive insights from data to drive strategic decisions.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, NetSuite, Gong, and/or other sales systems.
  • Experience using AI-powered tools to accelerate program design, automate execution tasks, or surface strategic insights.
