Job Description
The Sales Operations Specialist at Samsara supports and optimizes sales processes, manages sales systems and policies, and collaborates across teams to drive sales efficiency and growth in a fast-paced, global environment.
Responsibilities
- •Manage and execute critical sales processes such as account assignment and compensation audits
- •Partner with the Salesforce Systems team to automate workflows, enhance systems processes, and supervise UAT testing
- •Oversee governance of all sales policies, conduct routine compliance audits, and maintain related documentation
- •Assist with administering sales systems including SFDC, telephone queues, third-party software, and proprietary tools
- •Build and maintain strong relationships with sales leadership and cross-functional teams
Requirements
- •2-4 years of experience in analytical roles such as Sales Operations, Quota Operations, Consulting, Business Operations, or similar fields.
- •Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to independently manage multiple workstreams on a tight deadline.
- •Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills.
- •Ability to build strong relationships with executives including EVP of Sales, Sales VPs, Sales Directors, and cross-functional partners.
- •Comfortable with ambiguity and enthusiastic about improving efficiencies.
- •Strong skillset with analytical tools such as Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, with a willingness to expand skill set to tackle new problems.
- •Experience with Salesforce data management and reporting.
- •English fluency.
- •Bachelor’s Degree.
