Job Description
The Renewal Account Executive at Samsara is responsible for managing and renewing SaaS contracts with mid-market and commercial customers, ensuring customer success, minimizing attrition, and identifying growth opportunities to drive revenue and support the company's long-term growth.
Responsibilities
- •Manage and own 50 renewal engagements per quarter from end-to-end
- •Achieve and exceed renewal sales targets for commercial and mid-market accounts
- •Collaborate with Customer Success Managers and Account Executives to solve problems, upsell, and ensure smooth renewals
- •Identify opportunities for growth and pass insights back to the business
- •Build and maintain genuine relationships with customers to foster trust and long-term success
Requirements
- •Minimum of 2 years of full cycle closing sales experience, ideally working with mid-sized businesses in a high transaction environment
- •A track record of consistent quota over-achievement
- •Comfort with a rapidly changing, high-growth environment
- •Empathy for customers and team members
- •Highly organized
- •Strong communication and presentation skills
- •Familiarity with Salesforce
