Job Description
The Emerging Talent Recruiter at Samsara is responsible for managing the full cycle of university and emerging talent recruitment, developing strategies to attract top candidates, building relationships with academic institutions, and supporting internship and new graduate programs to help scale the company's talent pipeline.
Responsibilities
- •Manage the full cycle recruiting process for emerging talent, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, extending offers, and candidate relationship management.
- •Design and implement talent attraction strategies to recruit top university talent and meet hiring goals.
- •Build and maintain relationships with university career centers, faculty, student leaders, and partner organizations to promote Samsara as an employer of choice.
- •Plan and execute emerging talent programs such as internships and new graduate initiatives.
- •Ensure data accuracy and report on key metrics to evaluate and improve recruiting strategies.
- •Continuously improve recruiting processes to enhance efficiency and candidate experience.
- •Incorporate diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging principles into recruiting strategies and programs.
Requirements
- •5 years of experience in Recruiting or similar functions with 2 years of direct university recruiting experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- •Results-oriented with a relentless drive to find and hire top talent with proven ability in attracting both passive and active candidates across Bachelors programs
- •Excellent time management and organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple competing priorities with a sense of urgency and flexibility
- •Proven team player with strong interpersonal skills and communication skills verbal, written, and presentation
- •Ability to consult, collaborate, and influence stakeholders at all levels
- •Working knowledge of effective assessment and selection processes
- •Experience with recruiting tools such as Greenhouse, RippleMatch, Handshake, CriteriaCorp, and CodeSignal
- •Ability to travel 4 to 8 weeks per year to represent Samsara on campus and in the community
- •Ability to work from the Phoenix office up to 2 days per week during the 12-week summer internship program
