Job Description

The role involves selling Internet of Things solutions to small to medium-sized customers, focusing on building relationships and generating sales through strategic prospecting and engagement. The position requires a proactive approach to understanding customer needs and navigating complex sales processes.

Responsibilities

  • Own customer engagements end-to-end, from prospecting and qualification to close.
  • Generate pipeline through strategic outbound prospecting and inbound leads.
  • Target accounts with 11-30 vehicles.
  • Handle and own transactional sales process with high volume demands.
  • Champion and embed Samsara’s cultural principles.

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience in a closing sales role.
  • Proven track record of consistent quota achievement.
  • Experience selling in the commercial space with small to medium deal sizes.
  • Experience with high-volume cold calling.
  • Experience in fast-paced, transactional sales.
  • Must demonstrate a growth mindset and a willingness to be collaborative with teammates and in the selling process.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce (SFDC).
