Job Description
The role involves leading and managing quality, safety, and environmental programs across Rondo Energy's manufacturing and operations, ensuring compliance, continuous improvement, and fostering a strong safety culture in a fast-paced, innovative energy company.
Responsibilities
- •Lead and implement quality, safety, and environmental programs across manufacturing, product assembly, and headquarters.
- •Develop, maintain, and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) and Integrated Management System (IMS).
- •Establish and monitor quality control and assurance systems for internal manufacturing and product delivery.
- •Recruit, develop, and lead a team of QHSE professionals supporting various operational sites.
- •Lead safety programs to ensure compliance with OSHA, CAL OSHA, and local regulations, and promote a strong safety culture.
- •Conduct incident investigations using root cause analysis and other diagnostic tools to drive systemic improvements.
- •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality and safety requirements into workflows and projects.
- •Support supplier and contract manufacturer compliance with quality and safety standards.
- •Perform periodic audits and inspections to ensure compliance and identify improvement opportunities.
Requirements
- •Ten (10) years of experience in Quality and HSE roles, ideally in EPC or manufacturing environments.
- •Proven leadership in building and managing QHSE teams across multiple sites and geographies.
- •Demonstrated success in developing and implementing standardized processes and systems across organizations.
- •Deep understanding of federal and state safety regulations and standards.
- •Expertise in investigation methods such as Causal Learning, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and other diagnostic tools.
- •Experience participating in or leading HAZID, HAZOP, and Management of Change (MoC) activities.
- •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges.
- •Demonstrated ability to develop and implement an Integrated Management System (IMS).
- •Excellent communication and collaboration skills across all organizational levels.
- •Willingness to travel up to 30%.
- •Ability to operate tactically in a fast-paced startup environment.
- •Physical ability to support quality control and safety activities at manufacturing, product assembly operations, and construction sites (implied by role responsibilities).
