Job Description
The Sales Lead will drive early sales efforts for a robotics startup focused on automating industrial maintenance, building relationships with enterprise clients in the oil, gas, and heavy industry sectors, and helping to develop scalable sales processes for long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive early commercial wins by converting interest into pilot and customer agreements
- Own outreach, manage sales cycles, and build customer relationships
- Shape and develop a repeatable, scalable sales process for future team expansion
- Collaborate with founders and product team to refine go-to-market strategy
- Move technical enterprise deals forward and communicate effectively with oil and gas buyers
Requirements
- Experience in driving early commercial wins and turning early interest into committed pilot and commercial customers.
- Ability to own outreach, manage sales cycles, and develop customer relationships.
- Experience in shaping go-to-market (GTM) strategy alongside founders and product teams.
- Ability to develop a repeatable and scalable sales process for future sales team members.
- Proven success as a closer who thrives in ambiguity and can move technical enterprise deals forward.
- Ability to speak the language of oil and gas buyers and engage with technical enterprise clients.
