Job Description
The FRP Materials and Process Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the performance, reliability, and quality of proprietary manufacturing processes for fiber-reinforced polymer composites used in large-scale construction components, collaborating with engineers to design and optimize key unit operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the performance and reliability of the proprietary FRP manufacturing process
- Ensure the quality of produced FRP components
- Collaborate with mechanical and mechatronics engineers to design and build key unit operations
- Make critical design decisions affecting manufacturing processes and organizational growth
Requirements
- Own the performance and reliability of the company's proprietary manufacturing process for fiber-reinforced polymer composites (FRPs) and ensure the quality of produced FRP components.
- Collaborate closely with mechanical and mechatronics engineers to design and build key unit operations related to FRP manufacturing processes.
- Own critical design decisions that affect the future trajectory of the organization’s manufacturing capabilities.
