Job Description

The Maintenance Rebuild Coordinator is responsible for managing the offline rebuild of spare parts, coordinating repairs, inventory management, and ensuring the availability of parts to support maintenance and production operations in a sustainable battery manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with maintenance to evaluate repair needs of damaged equipment
  • Identify and procure parts and rebuild kits for in-house rebuilds
  • Implement and manage RMA processes for equipment under warranty
  • Coordinate external evaluation and repairs for complex equipment
  • Manage and communicate repair schedules to maintenance and engineering teams
  • Utilize ERP, CMMS, and Inventory Management software to track and manage inventory

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of rebuild processes, inventory management, and supply chain strategies to ensure the timely availability of spare parts while minimizing downtime and production disruptions.
  • Experience in managing offline rebuild of spare parts, including coordinating with maintenance to evaluate repair needs of damaged equipment pulled off the production lines.
  • Ability to identify and procure parts and rebuild kits necessary for maintenance to complete in-house rebuilds.
  • Experience implementing and managing Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) processes for equipment under warranty.
  • Ability to coordinate external evaluation and repairs for complex equipment.
  • Experience managing and communicating repair schedules to maintenance and engineering teams, including expediting requests as needed by the business.
  • Proficiency in utilizing ERP, CMMS, and/or Inventory Management software to track, analyze, and manage inventory effectively.
  • Previous experience in maintenance or spare parts management preferred.
  • Must have a strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.
  • Physical ability to stand or sit for more than 80% of the shift.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in dusty environments and varied work environments, indoors or outdoors in all seasons.
  • Essential physical capabilities including climbing, standing, stooping, or typing.
  • Ability to work in difficult working conditions which may include exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, and temperature extremes, for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
  • Availability to work full-time, Monday through Friday, day shift.
