Job Description
The Instrumentation Equipment Reliability Engineer at Redwood Materials is responsible for enhancing the reliability and performance of production equipment in battery recycling and refining operations, focusing on minimizing downtime and maintenance costs through effective strategies and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- •Design and improve instrumentation verification and calibration strategies
- •Identify spare parts and ensure cost-effective stocking
- •Facilitate Root Cause Analysis and RCM studies for instrumentation failures
- •Coordinate with technical experts on instrumentation reliability improvements
- •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safe and efficient production equipment operation
Requirements
- •B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or similar discipline
- •3 to 5 years of experience in an industrial plant operations environment
- •Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and or quantitative productivity standards
- •Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone
- •Must be able to use a full-face respirator and powered air purifying respirator (PAPR)
- •Comfortable working around hazardous waste and hazardous materials with appropriate PPE
