Job Description
The Fixed Equipment Reliability Engineer at Redwood Materials is responsible for enhancing the reliability and efficiency of production equipment in battery recycling and refining operations, focusing on preventive maintenance strategies and root cause analysis to minimize downtime and maintenance costs.
Responsibilities
- •Design and improve fixed equipment preventive maintenance strategies
- •Evaluate condition monitoring data and implement new technology
- •Identify spare parts and ensure cost-effective stocking
- •Facilitate Root Cause Analysis and RCM studies
- •Coordinate with industry technical experts on reliability improvements
- •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safe and efficient equipment operation
Requirements
- •B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or similar discipline.
- •3 to 5 years of experience in an industrial plant operations environment.
- •Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- •Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on the telephone.
- •Must be able to use a full-face respirator and powered air purifying respirator (PAPR).
- •Comfortable working around hazardous waste and hazardous materials with appropriate PPE.
