Job Description
The Electrical Reliability Engineer at Redwood Materials is responsible for enhancing the reliability of electrical equipment in battery recycling and refining production lines, focusing on preventive maintenance strategies and minimizing downtime. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and safe operations.
Responsibilities
- •Design and improve electrical equipment preventive maintenance strategies
- •Evaluate condition monitoring data and implement new technology
- •Identify spare parts and ensure cost-effective stocking
- •Facilitate Root Cause Analysis and RCM studies
- •Coordinate with industry technical experts on reliability improvement efforts
- •Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure safe and efficient equipment operation
Requirements
- •B.S. in Electrical Engineering, or similar discipline
- •3 to 5 years of experience in an industrial plant operations environment
- •Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and or quantitative productivity standards
- •Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone
- •Must be able to use a full-face respirator and powered air purifying respirator (PAPR)
- •Comfortable working around hazardous waste and hazardous materials with appropriate PPE
