Job Description
This role involves managing drone missions for data collection and inspections, ensuring accuracy and quality, primarily working remotely as a certified drone pilot following established protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage mission planning and drone flights for inspections
- Ensure accuracy and quality of data collection
- Track work completed in company systems
- Plan, schedule, and execute drone missions following established protocols
- Collaborate with data collection specialists during missions
Requirements
- Must hold a Part 107 drone pilot certification and be able to plan, schedule, and execute drone missions on a daily basis following established protocols.
- Experience in managing mission planning and drone flights for inspections, ensuring accuracy and quality that meet company standards.
- Ability to track work completed accurately in company systems and maintain attention to detail.
- Availability to work remotely during core hours between 8:30am and 8:30pm Eastern Time, with flexibility for shifts outside these hours as gained through experience.
- Prior titles held may include Flight Coordinator, Drone Pilot, or UAS Operator, indicating relevant experience in drone operation roles.
- Willingness to work in a task-based role requiring proper documentation and tracking of work completed.
- Drone equipment will be provided by Raptor Maps, so prior ownership of equipment is not required.
