Job Description
The job involves working as a Software Engineer on the FlashArray team at Pure Storage, focusing on performance benchmarking, automation, and analysis to enhance product performance and support digital transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- •Build and review performance benchmarking requirements and metrics for FlashArray products.
- •Research and develop performance benchmarking strategies for product features.
- •Contribute to the automation of performance benchmarking, data collection, and analysis.
- •Track performance benchmarking goals during release cycles to address performance regressions.
- •Assist in validating new performance enhancements and evaluate new architectures.
- •Manage performance test beds and ensure they are up to date for internal tests.
- •Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, and collaborate with development to resolve issues.
Requirements
- •MS in Computer Science or related technical field, or BS with comparable experience.
- •4 years experience in building systems software including experience in system level performance testing for servers, storage, and databases.
- •Knowledge of SAN, iSCSI, NFS, and SMB protocols.
- •Strong experience with Linux systems network configuration, storage stack, system settings, and common command utilities.
- •Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- •Commitment to delivering great software and releasing it efficiently and with increasing quality.
- •Ability to be present in the office for 4 days a week.
