Job Description
The Senior Manager, Systems Pre-Sales Engineering for SEM Italy is a strategic leader responsible for driving pre-sales technical strategy, market expansion, and partner engagement in the IT industry, focusing on growth opportunities in sectors like AI, Healthcare, and Cyber Resilience.
Responsibilities
- •Develop and execute a business plan for Italy, identifying growth opportunities in AI, Healthcare, Public Cloud, and Cyber Resilience.
- •Build and strengthen relationships across the partner and channel ecosystem to drive business growth.
- •Mentor and develop a high-performing team of pre-sales engineers, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
- •Ensure technical resources effectively support sales engagements, proof of concepts, and technical sales presentations.
- •Track pre-sales engagement metrics and optimize sales performance.
Requirements
- •10 years of experience in pre-sales engineering leadership within the IT industry.
- •Strong business acumen and ability to develop and execute strategic business plans.
- •Proven expertise in partner channel management and ecosystem expansion.
- •Deep understanding of AI, Cloud, Security, and Cyber Resilience trends.
- •Experience leading and developing high-performing technical teams.
- •Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills at executive and technical levels.
- •Native bilingual Italian and business-proficient English.
- •Must be based in Milan or willing to relocate.
