Job Description
The role involves leading marketing operations for Portworx within Pure Storage, focusing on strategy, execution, and data-driven decision-making to support demand generation and align marketing efforts with business goals in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the marketing operations strategy for Portworx, ensuring alignment with business priorities and marketing goals
- Manage marketing automation, CRM, and reporting tools to support marketing performance and data infrastructure
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to execute the operational roadmap and ensure shared accountability for results
- Oversee campaign operations, including email marketing, nurture streams, and lead management
- Own the end-to-end email marketing and lead management strategy, including audience targeting, segmentation, and lead routing
- Design and deliver performance dashboards and reports on pipeline metrics, funnel analytics, and campaign attribution
- Analyze marketing data for Quarterly Business Reviews and communicate marketing impact on pipeline and revenue
- Advise marketing leadership on data-driven insights, optimizations, and investment decisions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 8 to 10 years of experience in B2B Marketing
- At least 5 years of experience focused on marketing operations
- Proven experience with marketing automation tools such as Marketo
- Proven experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce
- Proven experience with marketing planning and budgeting tools such as Allocadia
- Proven experience with reporting tools like Tableau or Power BI
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear insights and strategic recommendations
- Demonstrated ability to prepare reports, dashboards, and business cases for C-level executives with high attention to detail
- Experience supporting executive reporting and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)
- Hands-on experience managing budgets, forecasts, and operational plans
- High level of initiative, ownership, and agility, with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across teams, functions, and time zones
- Process-oriented mindset with a continuous improvement approach
- Ability to work in an in-office environment at the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with company policies
