Job Description
An SAP ABAP Developer responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing custom SAP applications within the SAP S/4HANA environment, supporting implementation projects, troubleshooting, and ensuring best practices adherence in a collaborative team setting.
Responsibilities
- •Develop, test, and maintain custom SAP ABAP programs supporting SAP S4 implementation
- •Analyze functional specifications and collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements
- •Perform code reviews, troubleshoot technical issues, and optimize performance of ABAP programs
- •Support SAP implementation and enhancement projects
- •Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions
- •Work with AMS team to provide Level 3 support
- •Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and development standards
Requirements
- •Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
- •4 to 6 years experience in SAP ABAP development roles.
- •Proficiency in SAP interfaces like IDOCs, RFCs, and Web Services.
- •Familiarity with ABAP on HANA and Fiori.
- •Expertise in developing Fiori applications via UI5, including Free style UI5 and Fiori elements.
- •Work experience with SAP modules such as FI, SD, MM, and PP.
- •Proficiency in modern SAP technologies such as CDS Views, OData services, OOABAP, Interfaces, Enhancements, and BTP RAP.
- •Experience in debugging, performance tuning, and transport management in SAP environments.
- •Ability to analyze functional specifications and collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements.
- •Ability to develop, test, and maintain custom SAP ABAP programs supporting SAP S/4HANA implementation.
- •Ability to create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions.
- •Support SAP implementation and enhancement projects.
- •Support SAP applications by providing L3 support in collaboration with the AMS team.
- •Adherence to SAP best practices and development standards.
- •Ideally, SAP certification in ABAP or related areas.
