Job Description

This role involves prospecting, qualifying, and developing new sales opportunities for Pure Storage's all-flash enterprise storage solutions, primarily through outbound calls, account research, and collaboration with sales and marketing teams to drive business growth and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and set appointments for net-new sales opportunities
  • Prospect targeted accounts and develop outbound call campaigns
  • Work closely with field sales and channel partners to penetrate new accounts
  • Qualify and respond to marketing-generated leads
  • Conduct virtual presentations to prospective clients and partners
  • Research and understand key target accounts and industry trends
  • Collaborate with marketing on lead generation strategies
  • Manage sales activities using CRM and sales enablement tools
  • Handle project upsells and renewals as needed
  • Participate in trade shows, enterprise briefings, and customer visits

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year experience in sales, preferably storage
  • Ability to consistently exceed quota and penetrate net-new accounts
  • Ability to efficiently manage and prioritize various sales-related activities and adapt to shifting priorities
  • Ability to clearly communicate Pure Storage business value to varying roles in an IT organization
  • Excellent English and Swiss German as well as German verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and effective time management
  • Demonstrated ability to optimize performance and drive results in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in daily use of sales enablement tools including Salesforce.com, Discover.org, Gmail, LinkedIn, and InsideSales.com
  • Willingness to travel approximately 5-10 days for tradeshow events, enterprise briefings, and customer visits
  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) or similar qualification
