Job Description
This role involves prospecting, qualifying, and developing new sales opportunities for Pure Storage's all-flash enterprise storage solutions, primarily through outbound calls, account research, and collaboration with sales and marketing teams to drive business growth and customer engagement.
Responsibilities
- •Identify, qualify, and set appointments for net-new sales opportunities
- •Prospect targeted accounts and develop outbound call campaigns
- •Work closely with field sales and channel partners to penetrate new accounts
- •Qualify and respond to marketing-generated leads
- •Conduct virtual presentations to prospective clients and partners
- •Research and understand key target accounts and industry trends
- •Collaborate with marketing on lead generation strategies
- •Manage sales activities using CRM and sales enablement tools
- •Handle project upsells and renewals as needed
- •Participate in trade shows, enterprise briefings, and customer visits
Requirements
- •Minimum 1 year experience in sales, preferably storage
- •Ability to consistently exceed quota and penetrate net-new accounts
- •Ability to efficiently manage and prioritize various sales-related activities and adapt to shifting priorities
- •Ability to clearly communicate Pure Storage business value to varying roles in an IT organization
- •Excellent English and Swiss German as well as German verbal and written communication skills
- •Strong organizational skills and effective time management
- •Demonstrated ability to optimize performance and drive results in a fast-paced environment
- •Proficiency in daily use of sales enablement tools including Salesforce.com, Discover.org, Gmail, LinkedIn, and InsideSales.com
- •Willingness to travel approximately 5-10 days for tradeshow events, enterprise briefings, and customer visits
- •Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) or similar qualification
