Job Description

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Pure Storage is responsible for identifying and qualifying new enterprise customer opportunities within the ASEAN-Greater China region, supporting sales growth through outbound prospecting, inbound lead management, and collaboration with sales and marketing teams in a fast-paced, innovative tech environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage new opportunities within the ASEAN-Greater China enterprise market through outbound prospecting and targeted campaigns
  • Qualify and convert inbound leads, setting high-quality meetings for Account Executive teams
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and channel teams to align on territory plans and execute outreach strategies
  • Conduct account research to personalize outreach and develop meaningful engagement approaches
  • Support sales pipeline development by contributing to early-stage opportunity progression with Account Executives
  • Utilize sales enablement tools such as Salesforce and LinkedIn for prospecting and engagement
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and industry news to enhance sales conversations

Requirements

  • Experience with direct or indirect sales on Enterprise accounts, especially within the ASEAN Greater China region
  • At least 3 years of inside field sales experience
  • Native bilingual proficiency in an ASEAN language or Chinese and professional proficiency in English
  • Strong drive for sales and relationship building
  • Proven track record of exceeding quotas and maintaining a robust sales pipeline
  • Advanced prospecting skills required for engaging new customers
  • Ability to qualify and convert inbound leads and set high-quality meetings for Account Executive teams
  • Experience working with Channel, GSI, and Ecosystem Partners
  • Ability to identify and engage net-new opportunities within the ASEAN Greater China enterprise market through outbound prospecting and targeted campaigns
  • Ability to conduct in-depth account research to personalize outreach strategies
  • Ability to support sales pipeline progression and contribute to early-stage opportunity development with Account Executives
  • Ability to utilize sales enablement tools daily, including Salesforce, LinkedIn, and other modern tech stacks
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of cloud computing and Data Centre Architecture
