Job Description

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Pure Storage is responsible for identifying and qualifying new enterprise sales opportunities within the ANZ market, engaging potential customers, and supporting the sales pipeline to drive growth in modern data storage solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage new opportunities within the enterprise market through outbound prospecting and targeted campaigns
  • Qualify and convert inbound leads, setting meetings for Account Executive teams
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and channel teams to align on territory plans and outreach strategies
  • Conduct account research to personalize outreach and develop meaningful engagement approaches
  • Support sales pipeline development by contributing to early-stage opportunity progression

Requirements

  • 3 years of inside field sales experience
  • Professional English proficiency
  • Experience with direct or indirect sales on Enterprise accounts, especially within the Australia New Zealand (ANZ) market
  • Experience working with Channel, GSI, and Ecosystem Partners
  • Advanced prospecting skills in engaging new customers
  • Proven success in exceeding quotas and maintaining a robust sales pipeline
  • Ability to qualify and convert inbound leads and identify new opportunities within the enterprise market through outbound prospecting and targeted campaigns
  • Ability to collaborate with Field Sales, Channel, and Marketing teams to align on territory plans and execute strategic outreach efforts
  • Ability to conduct in-depth account research to personalize outreach strategies
  • Support sales pipeline progression and contribute to early-stage opportunity development with Account Executives
  • Utilize sales enablement tools daily, including Salesforce, LinkedIn, and other modern tech stacks
  • Ability to stay informed on market trends, competitor movements, and industry news to add value to conversations
  • Strong drive for sales and relationship building
  • Goal-oriented attitude and desire to drive change
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of cloud computing and Data Centre Architecture
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
