Job Description
The Public Sales Director at Pure Storage will lead and inspire a team of Account Executives in the public sector, focusing on building strong business relationships, driving sales performance, and fostering a positive and inclusive team environment.
Responsibilities
- •Lead and inspire a team of Public Sector Account Executives.
- •Hire and grow a diverse team of Account Executives.
- •Provide leadership and support to the extended Pure Storage team.
- •Ensure key metrics such as pipeline growth and forecast accuracy are met.
- •Build and nurture relationships with channel partners and alliance partners.
- •Lead sales calls and ensure team members achieve sales goals.
- •Drive and achieve business goals including annual bookings and new logos.
- •Review team activities and pipeline, adjusting strategies as needed.
- •Use analytical skills to enhance performance and optimize results.
- •Manage performance and development for the team.
Requirements
- •10 years of successful field sales experience, with 5 years in sales management, especially within German Public Sector technology sales in a competitive environment.
- •A proven record of selling to IT departments and management is essential.
- •A university degree is required.
- •Fluent in German and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- •Experience using CRM systems and other online tools to track and manage sales activities.
- •Ability to establish strong business relationships at the executive level.
- •Ability to lead and inspire a team of Public Sector Account Executives to success.
- •Organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- •Problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze situations and find solutions that drive team success.
- •Strong track record of recruitment and team development, with a focus on nurturing talent and fostering an inclusive environment.
