Job Description
The Buyer will manage procurement activities to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services, collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline operations through automation and innovation.
Responsibilities
- •Manage procurement activities for timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services
- •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to digital transformation of procurement processes
- •Issue and maintain Purchase Orders from ERP Netsuite
- •Negotiate pricing and other terms of purchase
- •Assist Sourcing Managers in managing strategic suppliers
- •Expedite and ensure timely receipt of materials
- •Review open purchase orders and contact suppliers for shipping updates
- •Issue RFQs, analyze proposals, and adjust purchase orders as needed
- •Follow-up on orders, verify deliveries, and maintain records
- •Assist with cost reduction opportunities for current suppliers
Requirements

- •Expedite and ensure the timely receipt of materials.
- •Review open purchase orders and contact suppliers to ensure materials are shipped on promised dates.
- •Issue RFQs, analyze proposals, negotiate price and delivery, issue and/or adjust purchase orders in a timely manner to meet internal forecast needs.
- •Follow-up on orders, verify deliveries, and maintain records.
- •Assist Sourcing Managers with cost reduction opportunities for current suppliers or by sourcing materials to new suppliers.
- •Work from the India office in compliance with Pure's policies.
