Job Description

The role involves selling Pure Storage's all-flash enterprise storage solutions to customers in Arizona, building strong relationships, leading sales strategies, and driving revenue growth through new customer acquisition and account management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate strategy and manage relationships with assigned accounts in Arizona
  • Collaborate with team members and partners to close sales opportunities
  • Evangelize Pure Storage's data storage solutions and communicate value to customers
  • Build and maintain customer relationships to ensure high satisfaction
  • Lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources and win new customers
  • Manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quotas
  • Identify and prospect new customers to expand the customer base
  • Navigate complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders
  • Drive post-sales customer success and ensure ongoing satisfaction

Requirements

  • Experience selling into customers in Arizona.
  • Currently selling and living in Arizona.
  • Ability to coordinate the overall strategy and relationship between the assigned accounts and Pure Storage.
  • Experience leading team-selling efforts with teammates and strategic partners around the globe to close business on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Ability to evangelize Pure Storage's all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions, ensuring customers fully grasp the company's total value proposition.
  • Experience building and investing in relationships with customers to establish value and drive customer satisfaction ratings.
  • Ability to lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to ensure all internal resources are engaged to execute and win new customers.
  • Ability to drive and manage a healthy and robust pipeline of sales activity to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quotas.
  • Authenticity and a genuine desire to engage customers and understand their business challenges.
  • Thought leadership, creativity, and a Challenger Mindset to apply customer insights and technology expertise to position Pure's portfolio as a solution to persistent problems.
  • Proven prospecting skills with an avid hunter mentality, consistently opening doors to new customers and navigating between the boardroom and data center to position Pure Storage solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication, with the ability to build and deepen relationships over time.
  • Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency.
  • Expertise in leading a complex sales process with multiple stakeholders, fostering teamwork and shared ownership internally and with partners.
  • A consistent track record of exceeding quota and driving referenceable business.
  • Passion for post-sales customer success.
  • Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience focused on new logo acquisition or business development.
  • Experience consistently delivering between 5 million and 10 million USD in revenue per year.
