Job Description
The role involves developing new business and managing customer relationships as an Account Executive in the data storage industry, focusing on promoting Pure Storage's all-flash enterprise storage solutions and driving sales growth within the EMEA region.
Responsibilities
- •Develop new business in Enterprise, Commercial, or Public sectors by engaging with channel resellers and key customer accounts
- •Collaborate with Pre-sales, Partner sales, and Field Marketing teams to drive sales success
- •Evangelize Pure Storage's all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions to customers
- •Build and maintain relationships with customers to demonstrate Pure's value and ensure high customer satisfaction
- •Lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources for customer acquisition
- •Manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas
Requirements
- •5 years of outside sales experience with a focus on new logo acquisition or business development, consistently delivering 5-10 million pounds/euros/dollars per year in revenues
- •Proven prospecting skills with an avid hunter mentality, consistently opening doors to new customers and navigating seamlessly between the boardroom and the data center
- •Experience leading a complex sales process with multiple stakeholders, fostering teamwork and shared ownership internally and with partners
- •Excellent interpersonal skills including written and oral communication, able to build relationships easily and deepen them over time
- •Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency
- •Track record of exceeding quota and driving referenceable business
- •Demonstrated passion for post-sales customer success
- •Authenticity and a genuine desire to engage customers and understand their business challenges
- •Thought leadership, creativity, and a Challenger Mindset, with the ability to apply customer insights and technology solutions to position Pure’s portfolio to solve persistent problems
- •Ability to build and invest in relationships with customers to establish Pure’s value and drive the highest customer satisfaction ratings in the industry
- •Experience evangelizing enterprise storage technology and data solutions to customers, ensuring they fully grasp the total value proposition
- •Experience building and developing account plans to ensure all internal resources are engaged to execute and win new customers
- •Ability to build and manage a healthy and robust sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quotas
- •Based in the UK and willing to be present in the office for 3 days a week, with flexibility depending on business needs according to Pure’s Hybrid Work Policy
