Job Description
The Senior Director of Procurement will lead procurement strategies, manage vendor relationships, negotiate equipment agreements, and oversee logistics for Pivot Energy's national solar and energy storage projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead procurement strategy for solar PV and energy storage projects.
- Qualify, develop, and maintain strategic vendor relationships.
- Negotiate equipment procurement agreements.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders.
- Manage equipment storage and logistics.
- Support the Technical Operations team in delivering operational assets.
Requirements
- Experience leading procurement strategy and driving competitive advantages for a portfolio of solar PV and energy storage projects.
- Proven ability to qualify, develop, and maintain a portfolio of strategic vendor relationships.
- Experience supporting technical operations teams in delivering operational assets.
- Experience leading a procurement team responsible for negotiating strategic equipment procurement agreements.
- Experience preparing and issuing purchase orders.
- Experience managing equipment storage and logistics.
- Ability to foster and maintain vendor relationships.
- Demonstrated experience in negotiating equipment procurement agreements and purchase orders.
- Ability to lead and manage a procurement team responsible for equipment procurement and logistics.
