Job Description

A strategic leadership role responsible for scaling and managing Palmetto's HVAC and Heat Pump business unit, including product development, go-to-market strategies, partnerships, and financial performance within the consumer marketplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and scale HVAC and Heat Pump consumer product and financing offerings.
  • Define and execute go-to-market strategies across sales channels.
  • Establish fulfillment strategies and partnerships for seamless customer purchase experience.
  • Identify and secure key partnerships to support business growth.
  • Lead strategy, operations, and execution to meet business targets.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams for seamless platform integration.
  • Partner with Capital Markets to define funding needs for financial products.
  • Manage P&L and operational metrics to drive growth and ensure profitability.
  • Build and develop a supporting team for the HVAC HP business segment.

Requirements

  • 10-15 years experience, with leadership roles in the HVAC HP industry
  • Demonstrated success in a General Manager, senior leadership, or business unit leadership role, owning both strategic direction and operational execution
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Masterful at go-to-market (GTM) strategies and have a clear understanding of testing and scaling channel throughput
  • Deep network across the HVAC HP ecosystem, including dealers, OEMs, distribution partners, and sales leaders
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC HP sales channels, dealer networks, and go-to-market models
  • Experience developing or supporting consumer finance or embedded financial products is a plus
  • Ability to build and scale HVAC and Heat Pump consumer product and financing offerings, defining success metrics and identifying growth opportunities
  • Ability to define and drive the go-to-market strategy across sales channels, including dealer channels, OEMs, and inside sales teams
  • Experience establishing fulfillment strategies and partnerships for consumer product offerings to enable seamless customer purchase experiences
  • Experience collaborating with engineering and product teams to ensure seamless integration with platforms and consumer apps
  • Partnering with capital markets teams to define funding needs for financial products and ensure financing requirements are met
  • Ownership of the P&L and key metrics of the HVAC HP channel, driving growth while ensuring strong unit economics and operational efficiency
  • Ability to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets tied to HVAC HP product sales, reflecting early traction and long-term scalability
  • Ability to deliver overall profitability metrics for the HVAC HP segment
  • Experience establishing and optimizing sales channels such as inside sales, dealer, and OEM partnerships, with clear metrics for volume, conversion, and economics
  • Employment contingent upon the successful completion of a background check
