Job Description
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment and systems, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. This role involves monitoring, diagnosing, and upgrading mechanical systems, as well as responding to breakdowns and performing preventive maintenance.
Responsibilities
- •Maintain all manufacturing equipment and systems
- •Monitor, diagnose, maintain, repair, and upgrade mechanical equipment and systems
- •Complete preventive maintenance (PM) as per schedule
- •Complete predictive maintenance (PdM) routes
- •Respond timely to equipment breakdowns
- •Fabricate equipment as needed
- •Install equipment as required
Requirements
- •High school diploma or GED preferred, or an Associates in a related field.
- •Previous mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- •Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical schematics as well as engineering drawings.
- •Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
- •Must be comfortable working in a semi-clean room atmosphere, including gowning or lab coats, hair nets, gloves, and safety glasses.
- •Must be able to read, write, and understand work instructions and documentation.
- •Must be able to use computer-based work tools.
- •Prior experience working with repairing power transmission, bearings, hydraulics, pneumatics, seals, pumps, fans, and basic rigging.
- •May be required to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs.
